ABOUT CHEST REDUCTION MALE

Dr Gupta practises tumescent liposuction which is the safest form of liposuction in the world with fast recovery and excellent cosmetic results. Tumescent liposuction means any form of liposuction that uses tumescent local anaesthesia. Dr Gupta offers the unique advantage of being trained in Microlipo & Vaserlipo to offer best possible options to his clients seeking liposuction procedures.

Liposuction is a surgical procedure and simply means fat removal. Over the years liposuction has evolved a lot and gone are the days of traditional liposuction involving general anaesthesia leading to hospital stays, blood losses, various postoperative complications which at times lead to death.

Dr Jeffrey Klein, a dermatologic surgeon from California, USA, invented a type of local anaesthesia called Tumescent Anaesthesia in 1986 which revolutionised the world of medicine. It was now possible to perform liposuction totally under local anaesthesia.

Tumescent is an English word meaning ‘firm &swollen’. Tumescent anaesthesia involves injecting large volumes(2-4L) of diluted anaesthetic solution inside the target fatty pocket to be removed until the area becomes firm, hard and swollen,.

The anaesthetic drug inside the solution numbs the whole area, causes fat cells to swell up and break down and shrinks the blood capillaries in the area to minimise blood loss.

Gynecomastia, also known as "man boobs" or "moobs," is the swelling of the male breast tissue due to excess fat growth. It affects around 15% of adult men and normally develops during puberty due to a hormonal imbalance. Gynecomastia is a condition that may arise as a result of weight loss and may necessitate some breast reduction.

Although gynecomastia is a benign disorder that does not require medical attention, it causes extreme insecurity and self-esteem problems for many men of all ages who suffer in silence.

Gynecomastia and Pseudogynecomastia are two types of gynecomastia. True gynecomastia is described as breast tissue enlargement that necessitates surgical excision for the best results. Excess fat deposition in the chest region causes pesuogynecomastia, which response well to the minimally invasive type of liposuction known as Microlipo.

Pseudogynecomastia is a condition in which men store excess fat in their chests, giving the appearance of female breasts. For most men, appearance is a major concern. Many patients say the disorder makes them feel insecure and embarrassed to remove their tops, which may lead to mental health issues. In today's image-conscious world, where social media is more common than ever, gynecomastia awareness has increased. Men are more likely to speak up about their bodies rather than remain quiet.

Getting rid of man boobs is one of the Hunar Clinic's most common procedures; it takes just a few hours, is completely secure, and leaves no trace. Micro-liposuction surgery is used.

Gynecomastia is a condition in which men store excess fat in the chest region, giving the appearance of breast tissue. Both sides of the male chest are swollen, causing either one or both sides to appear enlarged. A gritty material can also be found behind the nipple, which is the gland. Fat is the smoother tissue.

The condition can cause tenderness and pain, but the big issue is their appearance for most men. Many patients explain that the condition causes low self-confidence and makes them embarrassed to take their tops off, which can also trigger mental health problems. In today’s image-conscious world, with social media more popular than ever, awareness of gynecomastia has grown, and men are more willing to open up about their bodies instead of staying silent.

A renewed emphasis on the harmful effects of obesity has led to a surge in gym memberships, with the result that more men than ever are educating themselves on what can and cannot be done to target problem areas. Dieting and exercise cannot change the fatty tissue, and micro-liposuction is the only way to eliminate it, as gynecomastia sufferers know better than anyone.

PROCESS

We have yet to hear a single male patient say they are happy they waited to have the gynecomastia procedure done; almost everyone is amazed by how easy it is and wishes they had done it sooner.

A standard male breast reduction operation lasts about two hours and requires one to two days of recovery. Surgical removals take a little longer to heal from, ranging from three days to a week, but they are much less common.

Microlipo, also known as the "tumescent technique," is used to execute the operation. A mixture of tumescent fluid and local anaesthetic is pumped into the trouble areas beforehand, and tiny microcannulas inserted into the skin sucking it out. The mixture reacts with the fatty tissue and swells, forming a hard material that is pumped out.

During the minimally invasive operation, patients are awake and often converse with Dr Gupta and his staff. There will be no overnight stay, no increased risks, and you will be back on your feet in no time because no general anaesthetic is needed.

AFTERCARE

Patients are instructed to wear a compression garment for a few days after the operation to assist with swelling and flush out any excess tumescent fluid. You will need to change the bandage once or twice, but this is due to the fluid being absorbed rather than any blood loss.

Adits (holes) are left open to allow for fast drainage and leak stoppage. Absorptive dressings and compression garments are worn for 2-3 days before drainage has stopped, and the patient can resume daily activities. As a result, there are no dos and don'ts, and one can pretty much do whatever they want.

Swelling will appear in around a week and will gradually subside over the next 4-6 weeks.

Immediately after the operation, you will see a totally flat chest, which can trigger some surprise among men who aren't sure what they're seeing.

The body fully recovers in four to six weeks, leaving no noticeable scars and revealing the full effect of the operation.

A follow-up consultation should be scheduled at 6-8 weeks.
