An 8-point facelift is often referred to as a non-operative facial lift between the middle and the bottom of the face. It can produce lifting and rejuvenating effects without cost, downtimes and possible surgery risks.
The combination of soft tissue loss in crucial parts of the face makes us look old as our skin loses elasticity. Our facial structures succumb gravitationally, wrinkling, drooping or brittle.
The 8-point facial lifting system uses dermal fillers to restore volume to eight injection points on both sides of the face to lift the tissues and structure of the face for a younger look. This treatment is particularly effective because it focuses on one or two spots of problems in the middle and lower part of the face, focusing on particular areas and replacing lost tissue under the skin to restore the lost looks young and bright.

The 8-point facelift is beneficial if you have any of the following symptoms: – skin shrinking or face dropping - 'fearful' underneath the eye area. – Jowls that form on the jawline.
When we grow older, significant areas of the face lose volume. The '8-point lift' aims to achieve a beautiful and naturally lifted result with minimal discomfort using a dermal hydrating filler.
After personalised consultation with Dr Mittal, the eight strategic elevator points are a general guideline tailored to your needs. To achieve the best results, Before injecting the filler, Dr Mittal will mark your face.
The 8 points are Cheek Bones/Facial Structure.
(1&2): A small amount of volume in this area enhances the cheekbones and can often help lift the Nasolabial folds. Tear Trough/Mid-face
(3): The appearance of tired hollows under the eye area can be reduced. Nasolabial fold adjacent to nose
(4): This area often droops or sags with age, so adding volume here can give you a more youthful appearance. Mouth Corners
(5): The down turning of the mouth with age gives the appearance of a ‘Down Frown’ that can cause the patients to look sad and aged. Jowl area
(6): Loss of volume in the Jaw, Cheek and Chin areas can all contribute to jowl formation, so replacing volume in the hollow along the jawline can help to reduce or improve jowls. Jawline
(7): As we age, we lose the squareness or angle of the jaw. This treatment helps lift and support the lower face as the lower face starts to fall forward, contributing to jowls and sagging. A subtle enhancement of the angle of the jaw can help lift the treated areas. Lower cheek/Buccal area
(8): Following the Buccal area, the smile lines make patients look older and gaunter. Treating this area with filler can help with and improve the natural curve and structure of the cheek. AFTERCARE
It takes 30 to 60 minutes to treat, with minimum discomfort, if any. The results will last up to 18 months immediately. To achieve and maintain your desired appearance, 'touch up' treatments may be necessary.
Lumps under the skin, mild swelling and bruising can occur directly following an injection process, a normal reaction. You may feel itching and a little tenderness, but all this is gone within ten days.
Any discomfort is usually minimal and short, but swelling and redness can take a little longer to reduce. You should not do any hard work, go to a spa/sauna or drink alcohol for the first 24-48 hours after therapy.
